Project Completion under RERA

Why It’s Required?

According to the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA), every promoter must obtain a Completion Certificate (CC) or Occupancy Certificate (OC) from the competent authority and submit it to the respective State RERA Authority to officially mark the project as complete. RERA compliance mandates that the filing of project completion be done promptly, ensuring the development adheres to the approved plans, specifications, and legal requirements.


The application for completion should be filed immediately after construction concludes and before handing over possession to allottees.
